Many Heywood Charities have benefited from a donation of funding from the proceeds of the Heywood Charities Fete 2018 totaling £4,000.    At The Heywood Charities Fete Committee AGM on Monday 11th February 2019, groups gratefully received a cheque for their worthy cause,  each recipient explained how the money would make a significant difference to the valuable work of their Group in Heywood.  

 

The current Chair, Mr Steven Brown led the proceedings and presented cheques to When You Wish Upon A Star, Heywood Lions Junior Football Club, 9th Heywood St Margaret's Rainbows, 1st Heywood Crimble Croft Brownies, Crimble Croft, St Luke's Cubs, Back of the Moss Community Centre, Kats Dance Academy, 8th Heywood St Luke's Scout Group, St Luke's Beavers, St Margaret's Church, Friends of Hopwood Park, Trinity Methodist Church, Lancashire Veterans Association, St James’ Church.  Kats Dance Group received Best Walking Award. 

Heywood Charities Fete 2019 will be held on Sunday 1st September.
