Welcome to The Official Heywood Town Website
The Official Heywood Town Website is a community initiative by Heywood resident, Sandra Trickett who obtained funding to create and manage the website for the initial three years from Heywood Township Committee.
The aim is to provide a straightforward and convenient place to go for all local information.
The Website will aim to:-
Promote Heywood with a fresh and positive image in a positive way.
Coordinate and publicise events and activities.
Advertise local businesses.
Link community groups and organisations.
Provide a platform for information useful to visitors and residents alike.
The website will be of real benefit to local people, visitors and business in Heywood and will serve to strengthen the community as a whole.
The main sections are devoted to community groups, local business, places to visit and events. You can also find out about the local area, facilities, nearby places of interest and also view many photographs submitted by talented local photographers.
The website is easily accessible on smartphones and tablets, so you can access it wherever you are.
The accuracy of a website depends on those who supply the information. If there is a change to your business hours or your Group’s contact details, or if you notice that something is incorrect, please contact us. We welcome feedback and suggestions and submissions to any of the photo galleries.
